SECOND CAREERS – Eastern Stewardess Knopp managed a tennis club and designed and sold sweaters and jewelery before getting a real estate salesman license… Pan Am Captain Neil Andon now in the real estate biz too… TWA stewardess Adrian Lorenzo is an audiologist at Kings County Hospital in Bklyn… Arlene Jaffe and Joyce Hunt, taught at PS 199 – Arlene now sells real estate in Mexico, Joyce is the archivist of the Proust Society and writer of children’s books… Before computer sizing, Alice Kotzen was the fitting bra model – she now manages apartment buildings… Jeffery Wein was a renowned commercial photographer before switching to real estate management… Pat Loesch retired from the phone company as Director of Customer Service for the five boros and now directs operations at the Fire Island Hotel… Tony Mangino retired from the New York Fire Department (Bronx Engine Co. #48) and is co-owner/manager of the Inn Between.

PARTY TIME – Sharon Gerson hosted a Mintage Accessories party for Marisa Stubin. The Shop-till-you Droppers sipped Bob’s specially prepared margaritas as they purchased vintage bags, belts and "In" necklaces, bracelets and earrings… Alice and Arnold Kotzen hosted a cocktail party with nary a raindrop in sight and with a magnificent sunset. The crowd indulged on overflowing librations and marvelous tidbits of all sorts prepared by Chef Melissa and the Hurricane catering crew… On Sunday it was standing room only at Barbara Horton’s memorial as friends and family gave tribute to Barbara… Later that day the fortunate were at Florrie Swinski’s fabulous sunset soiree enjoying yet more glorious food and an even more beautiful sunset…

Steve Ingram is investigating a handicap to help “The Overs” – just kidding Steve… The Ocean Bay Park Gourmet Fair will be held Saturday August 14.
